Hey there! My name is Meet Patel and I am a Mechatronics Engineering student at the University of Waterloo interested in specializing in Software Engineering. I am extremely passionate about mechanical design, electrical engineering, software development, and artificial intelligence and love to work on projects intersecting within these fields. - Created a web application showcasing system analytics from the database in the form of widgets providing manufacturers and distributors insights into user activities in real-time minimizing execution risks
- Implemented image recognition capabilities to improve data interpretation by 20 % to automate process of recognizing finished retail work
- Deployed and maintained using React.js, Node.js, MySQL, Google Cloud Services, Sequelize, SendGrid, and FCM
- Utilized Python to process the data feed of the prices of two stocks to monitor trading strategies
- Implemented the client-side web application to display a live graph using the data feed from server applications aggregating duplicated data simultaneously

- Performed rigorous analysis of existing customer dataset (Customer demographic, customer address and transactions) to determine customer trends and behaviours
- Created a PowerPoint presentation in combination with Tableau and Power BI to communicate conclusions of analysis and to outline three phases of the approach (Data Exploration, Model Development and Interpretation) to Sprocket Central Pty Ltd
- Worked on the building process of the robot involving prototyping, building, testing, and modification of each component satisfying given pre-conditions
- Created multiple programs in C and C++ using the RobotCand PROS IDE for driver-control operations and autonomous routines using various sensors (Potentiometer, Ultrasonic Range Finder, Position Tracker, etc.)
- Directed all software design, architecture, and programming
Used React and Node.JS to create new features front to back - some generating over $500k ARR. Helped to redesign our Postgres schema, and scale our AWS infrastructure.
